Film information

Braun played by Guy de Saint Cyr is the third villain of Licence To Kill. Generally assisting Franz Sanchez and Dario through most of the film, Braun is more prominently seen in the film climax.

During the tanker chase Bond spots Braun and a group of henchmen in front of him including the stinger missile aimed directly at him. After going onto two wheels, the stinger misses him and hits the tanker behind. With Bond’s tanker still driving on two wheels, Braun quickly drops the stinger launcher as he and his men quickly walk to their jeep. They don’t have time to get in the jeep however, before Bonds tanker goes back onto four wheels crushing the jeep. With a little help from Pam Bouvier, Braun and the other henchmen literally bite the dust. Their pursuit of Bond comes to an end when their jeep flies over a cliff just missing Pam’s plane as she flies underneath.

Character information

Working for Sanchez, Braun acts a ‘chief’ henchman to other unnamed henchmen also in the employment of Sanchez. With very little to say, little else is learnt about the character. §
