James Bond MM is the creation of a Bond fan with the aim to entertain, educate and inform generations old and new alike to Bond, James Bond. Dive into the world of glamorous and sexy women, devious villains, heroic allies, fantastic cars and vehicles, crazy gadgets, exotic locations and much more!

History

When James Bond MM was first uploaded on the 8th January 2000, the world of online Bond was a much quieter place than it is today. There were much fewer sites around, although some famous name sites already had established fan bases way back in the mid 1990s.

Looking for a project to help me learn HTML and how to build a website, I decided to combine this need with my interest of Bond. Armed with the collection of Bond films on trusty VHS, I decided to start capturing images to computer which would become the start of the various sections contained on James Bond MM today. Needless to say I had to repeat the whole lengthy process with the advent of DVD technology!

The result I hope you'll agree is an informative and interesting reference site giving you a good introduction into the world of Bond. While I have tried to make the various elements on the site as comprehensive as possible, James Bond MM has only ever been created, maintained and run by one person. Consequently this has meant that the site can never compete with other similar much larger sites, run and assisted by numerous people. With this in mind I have tried to concentrate purely on the original, classic sections of the Bond world, hopefully to create something really useful. Being listed in the worldwide top 5 results for 'James Bond Girls' can't be bad...

Oh and if you are wondering about the choice of image at the top of this page, I thought it was quite apt. With the many Bond sites that exist these days, there is lots of choice for the Bond fan. While I can never compete with the resources and people involved with the bigger sites, I can hopefully try to be a 'big fish' in one or two small areas, and just contend with being a 'small fish' overall ;)
