Film information

After the explosion inside MI6, Bond notices The Cigar Girl’s Sunseeker on the Thames through a hole in the wall. After being shot at, Bond decides to make pursuit by stealing the Q-Boat.

This fast, agile mini-boat easily catches up with The Cigar Girl using its twin jet-powered thrust. In an impressive sequence The Cigar Girl is seen using the Sunseeker-mounted machine gun to spray bullets at Bond. 007 then launches the Q-Boat into a 360 degree spin as it leaves the water slicing through The Cigar Girl’s machine gun landing safely back in the water.

Armed with dual heat-seeking torpedoes, an on-board navigational computer and even a dive feature, Bond uses all the Q-Boat’s gadgetry to catch The Cigar Girl. She hijacks a hot-air balloon at the Millennium Dome after she is forced to abandon ship when Bond fires the heat-seeking torpedoes at the Sunseeker. Bond expertly uses the Q-Boat to give him an extra boost, grabbing hold of one of the hot-air balloons ropes. §
