These Kenworth Tankers provide Sanchez’s methods of drug distribution and delivery. The drugs are mixed in with the petrol to make them undetectable.
Once at the desired location, the petrol is then filtered using a special process to re-solidify the drugs back to their solid state.
The tankers are used extensively during the films final climatic chase scenes. After the main drug distribution plant is set on fire, Sanchez orders the evacuation of the tankers. During the following scenes Bond is seen driving one of the tankers in pursuit of Sanchez. 007 manages to avoid being shot with stinger missiles, gunfire, and even drives one of the tankers on two wheels through a wall of fire obscuring the way ahead. §
