Owned by Colonel Moon, these hovercrafts provide the ideal way of cruising over the one million land mines left by the Americans in the demilitarised zone. These hovercrafts feature a mounted machine gun, flamethrower and also a depleted Uranium gun.
Heavily armoured, Bond and Moon engage in a hovercraft chase in the pre-title sequence. After severely damaging or destroying most of the hovercrafts involved in the chase, Bond and Moon are left fighting on the last one. Moon is presumed dead when the speeding hovercraft falls over a large waterfall, with Bond barely managing to escape in time. §
