After Blofelds plans start to go awry onboard the oilrig, he arranges to have his Bathosub prepared. A mini-submarine featuring a number of possible gadgets, Blofeld orders a man in the crane to lower him into the water.
However, Bond has taken control and after teasing Blofeld by dropping him from a height into the water, he uses the Bathosub to ram and destroy the oilrigs control centre, terminating the uplink with the Diamond Laser Satellite. §
