Miss Penelope Smallbone was originally intended to replace Lois Maxwell, and thus is introduced to audiences in Octopussy. A very beautiful charming woman, Miss Smallbone is clearly taken in by the charms of Bond and is left wanting more. Sadly, the character does not appear again, with Miss Moneypenny sadly leaving also in A View To A Kill. §
