Early in the film, Bond is chasing May Day after she parachutes from the Eifel Tower. To continue pursuit, Bond steals a Renault Taxi and continues the chase. During the chase the car goes down a series of steps. It is these steps just across the street from the Eiffel Tower where Bond drives down.

The steps featured are the one's from the movie. The steps on the left look the same, but are not the one's used in A View To A Kill.
location directions
As you look at the Siene River and the Pont d' lena bridge, go down to the river on the right side of the bridge as you look at the river. These steps take you to the boat dock. §
