Profile

After visiting Raoul, Bond travels along a road in the 'fast car' Raoul provided, eventually arriving at the 'El Palacio Hotel'. He walks out towards the rear of the property and enjoys a Mojito and the view provided by Giacinta 'Jinx' Johnson. After spending the night with Jinx, Bond uses one of the hotels guests to gain access to the exclusive DNA clinic where he knows Zao is hiding.

About

El Balneario de la Palma was built between 1924 and 1926 originally as a spa to replace the old baths. However as its popularity fell, it became used for other purposes and by other people from 1936 up until 1975 when it was abandoned. The spa continued to deteriorate as time progressed, eventually becoming a site of cultural interest in 1990. The spa is now used by the Centre for Underwater Archaeology and the Andalusian Historical Heritage Institute.
