Castillo de San Sebastián was built on an island opposite Playa de la Caleta. Although the works of the castle started in 1706, in 1613 there was already set an artillery tower in the island. Nowadays, it is linked to the city through a long pier.

The fortress was the right location for Dr. Alvarez DNA Clinic in Cuba. Bond infiltrates and discovers Zao, who is changing his identity. The second image is the location where Jinx is held at gunpoint. To Bond's surprise, Jinx preforms an impressive backwards jump to a waiting boat far below.

You are not allowed to stroll inside the castle on your own, you must join a guided tour during summer.
