This revolving metal rake detected any weaponry passing by it. If it detected someone carrying a weapon, it would rotate and make a noise. This was used in the Blayden safe house to stop people carrying weapons onto the premises. As Bond approaches the safe house, a member of staff asks him to relinquish his weapon. §
