Whilst in Wai Lin's office Bond picks up the new Walther P99. The new 9mm P99 uses a bigger magazine capacity of 16 rounds compared to the Walther PPK that only used 6 rounds.

Bond would continue to use the P99 as his normal firearm for the next three films, only changing back to using the PPK from Quantum of Solace onwards. §
