Profile

After tracking Camille Montes to a dockside whilst in Haiti, Bond gives his Universal Exports card to a guard who passes it onto to Elvis. He phones the number and when he gets an answering machine, he tells the guard to pay attention next time. What Elvis doesn't realise is that his phone is now being tracked, something that Bond uses a number of times during the film to track the movements of his boss, Dominic Greene.

The phone, actually a Sony Ericsson C902, comes in handy once more later in the film during the Tosca performance. Bond uses the camera to zoom in and snap pictures of some of the Quantum members who stand up and leave after Bond announces his presence. The phones software cleverly compiles an image and facial characteristics of its subject, even from a large distance away and at awkward angles. This information is then fed directly back to MI6 who identify who the subjects are. §
