Profile
Bond is provided with this extremely useful gadget by Q-Branch. This key ring would save Bond's life a number of times throughout The Living Daylights. Firstly by whistling the first few bars of Rule Britannia a cloud of stun gas would be emitted disorientating any normal person for about 30 seconds. By using the stun gas Bond manages to fight off his cell captor when he is about to be locked up in an Afghan prison. Bond then uses the lock pick that Q claims to open 90% of the world's locks to escape his handcuffs.
Bond finds the gadget very handy at the end of the film when he places the magnetic key ring against a statue of the Duke of Wellington. After wolf whistling, Bond's signature tune designated by Q, the key ring explodes causing the statue to fall and kill Brad Whitaker. §
