Bond uses the watch twice, once in Q's lab to admire one of Q's female assistants, and with help from Q's hot air balloon above Kamal Khan's palace, Q sees Kamal and Octopussy leaving the palace through a hidden escape route. This information is relayed to 007's watch so he can also find the hidden escape and make pursuit. §
