A number of gadgets are seen in Q's lab in Goldfinger that were not used in the film itself. Q's assistants are seem experimenting with a parking meter that sprays tear gas, and a Q technician being shot whilst wearing a bullet-proof jacket. When Q notices Bond looking at the coat, he comments worryingly "Oh, it’s not perfected yet..." §
