Soundtrack review

The first James Bond film, and the first James Bond CD soundtrack. Sadly, in my personal opinion this is the worse soundtrack out of the whole collection. The CD is filled with music that is either not in the film, or contains multiple versions of the same tracks. For example there are 3 versions of 'Under the Mango Tree', and the track 'Audio Bongo' is very strange indeed. There is a clear Jamaican influence, as you would expect with 'Kingston Calypso' and 'Jump Up' being personal favourites.

Play listing

With multiple versions of tracks and music not in the film it is difficult to place this soundtrack in its movie sequence. Consequently, it is perhaps best that the CD is listened to in the order it is presented.
