Profile
Morzeny is first seen congratulating Donald 'Red' Grant after his excellent performance in killing 'Bond'; a man wearing a very life-like mask of Bond. As head of training operations on SPECTRE Island, Morzeny escorts Rosa Klebb through the training area to meet Grant.
It is Morzeny armed with the poison tipped spiked shoe who kills Kronsteen at the end of From Russia With Love for his failure. Morzeny is then personally sent out to kill Bond and recover the LEKTOR using three SPECTRE speedboats armed with machine and rocket guns. During the chase Bond dumps a number of fuel tanks into the sea after they are shot, and sets them alight with a signal flare. Morzeny and a number of SPECTRE agents are killed in the flames.
About
Morzeny is the director of operations at the training establishment on SPECTRE Island. Morzeny shows Rosa Klebb the extensive training SPECTRE agents go through, and also describes live-fire and real-life training exercises, the type seen in the pre-title sequence.
Morzeny's other role in SPECTRE seems to be an executioner. When Kronsteen's plan fails, Morzeny is brought in to kill Kronsteen with the poison shoe. Morzeny himself is killed when he burns in the fire created by Bond's fuel tanks at the end of the film.
Trivia
Walter Gotell also appears as General Anatol Gogol 14 years later in The Spy Who Loved Me up until 1987 in The Living Daylights. §
