Profile
Following the lead of the message sent to Mollaka, Bond tracks him to the Ocean Club at the Bahamas. After breaking into the security system, Dimitrios is identified as being the person who sent Mollaka the message. Bond learns where Dimitrios' house is located and notices his beautiful wife Solange riding a white horse along the beach.
Later back at the Ocean Club, Bond joins in on a game of poker with Dimitrios and a number of other players. During the proceedings Solange appears and kisses him, but Dimitrios pulls away commenting that she is a number of hours late and pushes her away. The game progresses until Dimitrios has a good hand and decides to raise the stakes. The dealer informs him that table limits stop him from raising by $20,000, so instead he bets his Aston Martin DB5. As the dealer tells Dimitrios again about the limits, Bond tells her it's ok, and wants to give him the chance to earn his money back, and so goes all in. Convinced he can't loose, Dimitrios reveals his set of three kings, but gets a big shock when Bond reveals his set of three aces, winning the pot and his car.
Dimitrios then heads to see Le Chiffre on his yacht. While Bond is busy enjoying the company of Dimitrios' wife at his villa, she gets a call to say Dimitrios is heading out of the last plane to Miami, so Bond decides to follow him.
Upon arrival in Miami, Bond trails Dimitrios to a Body Worlds exhibit. Bond watches him place a bag in the cloakroom and receive a ticket. After placing this on some gambling chips in part of an exhibit, Dimitrios confronts Bond. Dimitrios pulls out a knife and they both try to get control. Bond manages to distract Dimitrios and proceeds to stab him with his own knife. He then sits Dimitrios down on a chair and leaves.
About
Dimitrios is a middle-man hired by Le Chiffre. He plans to use the services of Mollaka to destroy the Skyfleet S570 prototype, but doesn't count on Mollaka already being under MI6 surveillance. He tells Le Chiffre not to worry and has another contact, Carlos to do the job.
Dimitrios has an expensive house in the Bahamas which he shares with his wife Solange. He doesn't seem to show her much respect however, and seems angry when she arrives late. Seemingly arrogant, Bond gets the better of him in the poker game. When Dimitrios tries to get his revenge in Miami, Bond gets the upper hand once more and stabs him, leaving him on a chair, almost like one of the Body Worlds exhibits. §
