film information

Dryden played by Malcolm Sinclair is the first villain of Casino Royale. At the very start of the film during the pre-title sequence Dryden is seen arriving at his office in Prague. He takes the lift and enters his office, but notices that the safe behind a picture has been opened. Releasing someone is there he spins around and notices a very calm looking Bond. He tells Dryden that M doesn’t mind him making some extra money on the side, but wishes it wasn’t selling secrets. Confident that if this was the case M would have sent a 00 agent, he sits down and his desk and tries to pull a gun on Bond. Expecting this move, Bond smugly tells Dryden that he knows where he keeps his gun, and thus has emptied all the ammunition.

Bond talks with Dryden about how he killed his contact Fisher, which is intermixed with flash sequences to the fight which takes place in the gent’s toilets. Just as Dryden is about to tell Bond that the second kill is much easier, Bond shoots Dryden before he can finish, commenting "Yes, considerably". §
