After killing Edmund Slate in his hotel room in Haiti, Bond picks up a briefcase intended for Slate at reception and leaves. As he is walking along the motorcyclist, thinking he is Slate, follows him and sees him get into a car with Camille Montes. Whilst they are driving, Camille notices the motorcyclist in the mirror and manages to lose him when she runs a set of red lights at a traffic junction.
After Bond jumps out of the car when she pulls a gun on him, the motorcyclist manages to catch up. He tells Bond that he was meant to kill Camille. After wryly telling the motorcyclist that he missed, Bond flips the bike sending the driver to the floor. He then disables him and steals the bike.
About
Hired by Dominic Greene, the motorcyclist is probably the person who dropped off the briefcase for Slate at his hotel. Due to the characters very limited on-screen time, little else is learnt. §
