Count Lippe played by Guy Doleman is the third Villain of Thunderball. Whilst Bond is at Shrublands he meets Count Lippe, and spots a rather interesting red tattoo on his arm.
Later Lippe tries to kill Bond whilst he is on the traction table by sending the table into full speed. After Bond escapes ‘the rack’ and enjoys time out with Patricia Fearing in the steam room, he gets his revenge on Count Lippe when Bond traps him in a steam machine.
Later when Bond discovers Major Derval's dead body he thwarts another assassination attempt from Lippe. When Bond leaves Shrublands, Lippe rather blandly fires a couple of rounds at 007 in his Aston Martin. Before Bond can use any of the Aston's gadgets, Fiona Volpe arrives on the scene riding the Rocket Motorbike on which she fires two missiles into Count Lippe's elimanating him.

Count Lippe, another SPECTRE agent is involved with Fiona Volpe and Angelo Palazzi in the plot to kill Major Francois Derval and replace him with Palazzi, a double of Derval who has undertook extensive plastic surgery. An impatient character, all Lippe's attempts to kill Bond fail, thus failing his mission with the ulimtate price to pay for failure. §
