Mr. Ling played by Burt Kwouk is the final Villain of Goldfinger. Whilst Bond is scouting Auric Goldfinger's factory in Switzerland, he hears Goldfinger talk to Mr. Ling mentioning ‘Operation Grand Slam’.

When Operation Grandslam starts to go wrong, Goldfinger shoots Mr. Ling to convince the incoming troops he is on their side.

Character information

Mr. Ling is a Red Chinese Agent who is an expert in nuclear fission. He accompanies Goldfinger around the world to discuss Operation Grand Slam and the ‘dirty’ nuclear device. When Goldfinger and his men break into Fort Knox, Mr. Ling arrives and places the detonator inside the bomb and arms it.

Burt Kwouk also plays the role of ‘SPECTRE No 3’ in You Only Live Twice. This is one of Ernst Stavro Blofelds control room technicians, who also makes a number of announcements regarding the status of Bird 1. §
