Bert Saxby played by Bruce Cabot is the seventh villain of Diamonds Are Forever. Working for Willard Whyte in the casino and serving as his ‘right hand’ man, Saxby is actually a employee of Blofeld.
Saxby approves Bonds credit at the casino when he sees the Slumber Inc envelope Bond is carrying. Saxby appears in a couple of other scenes throughout the film culminating with a badly executed assassin attempt on Willard Whyte when Bond rescues him.

A corrupt employee of Willard Whyte, Saxby seems to be a good agent for Blofeld as he manages Willard Whyte’s casino smoothly. He appears less successful at carrying out assassination missions where he is easily shot by Felix Leiter and the CIA. §
