We merely see a mysterious character plotting another devious plan with Rosa Klebb and Kronsteen. Blofeld orders the assassination of Kronsteen at the end of the film when his plan to steal the Lektor and kill Bond fails.
In Thunderball Blofeld is this time seen in SPECTRE's high-tech Paris headquarters. After catching up on the latest assignments from SPECTRE agents, Blofeld puts one of his agents under pressure when he suspects him and another agent for stealing money. With a press of a button Blofeld electrocutes the second agent sitting quietly using the same logic as in From Russia With Love. Blofeld then proceeds to listen to Emilio Largo's plan to steal two nuclear weapons.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld played by Anthony Dawson is a mysterious character, as his face is never revealed. Head of SPECTRE, Blofeld is highly intelligent but also highly ruthless. Blofeld shows no emotion and equally has no problems about eliminating anyone in his staff who is disloyal or fails their assignment. Ironically, Blofeld chooses to kill the agent who feels they are immune from his threats. In From Russia With Love it is Kronsteen who suffers the price of failure.
While the face of Blofeld is not revealed in From Russia With Love and Thunderball, distinguishing trademarks are established linking Blofeld with other actors to the play the character in the future. Whilst planning and discussing world domination schemes Blofeld is always seen stroking his white Persian cat.
In Thunderball Blofelds face is once again hidden, and as in From Russia With Love he remains devoid of emotion. He reiterates his threat of failure or disloyalty after electrocuting one of his agents for stealing SPECTRE funds, of course naturally whilst continuingly stroking his famous white cat.
