UK and US teaser posters were somewhat disappointing using a single image of Brosnan holding his gun with a red gunbarrel scene. While the UK Quad opened this up, the image was still mediocre.
The final UK and US posters used a central image of Bond surrounded by television screens featuring scenes and characters from the film. The US poster went for a red theme, where as the UK produced an alternative blue theme with Bond in a tuxedo, unlike the American version. As usual the UK Quad due to its orientation exhibited the artwork to fuller effect. As well as the UK Quad, a UK 1-Sheet poster was also produced using the alternate blue theme.
International versions mainly used the red theme shown on the red posters with a few countries using the alternative blue theme used on the UK posters. §
