The US teaser poster concentrated on showcasing The Man With The Golden Gun's golden gun, its parts and how it was constructed. Unusually an image of Bond was not the main focus of the poster.

Final US and UK posters featured artwork designed by Robert McGinnis once more and featured a number of scenes from the film integrated around Roger Moore in a Conneryesque pose. The artwork of McGinnis is portrayed to full effect in the UK Quad due to its landscape format.

International versions of The Man With The Golden Gun poster used the images of the golden gun and the main McGinnis artwork. §
