The US and UK teaser posters used the same image featuring Bond in a serious pose holding up his gun. Due to the format of the US 1-Sheet the image is partially cropped, where on the UK Quad the image is used in its entiretly.
The final posters featured similar designs in both the UK and the US. Two UK Quads were produced, both using the gunbarrel image. One used the gunbarrel surrounded by artwork depicting scenes from the film, where as the other simply used a blue gunbarrel with a provocative woman holding a gun. The US 1-Sheet featured the same design as the second UK Quad but due to its format the image is again cropped.
International versions of the posters mainly took on the second UK Quad and US 1-Sheet design, with only a small number of countries using the artwork gunbarrel style of the first UK Quad. §
