The US teaser and final 1-Sheet feature practically the same design with Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry presenting outstretched guns diagonally across the poster. The more appealing UK teaser proved that less is definitely more, showing only the image of a smoking gun placed in liquid ice, unusually not showing Bond at all. Similar to The World Is Not Enough, a series of character teaser posters was also released.
The final UK Quad is by far more appealing than its US 1-Sheet counterpart, featuring an ice theme with scenes and characters from the film encased within the ice. While an alternative US 1-Sheet featured this design, it is the UK Quad that shows it off to best effect due to its landscape nature.
International designs generally favoured the UK design with subtle differences in different countries, apart from the far eastern designs that are completely different. §
