The Eiffel Tower
Avenue Gustave Eiffel
Paris
France
After having lunch at one of The Eiffel Towers restaurants, Bond chases May Day up the tower. Before he can catch up May Day parachutes from the very top of the tower, eventually meeting up with a waiting boat piloted by Max Zorin.
The Eiffel Tower was built in March 31, 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition in celebration of the French Revolution. Attracting over six million visitors per year, The Eiffel Tower is Paris' number one attraction.
If you are interested in riding the lifts, be prepared for long lines. It's about 350 steps to the first level, then it's another 400 steps to the second level and the lift to the top. The levels where Bond and May Day fight are between the 2nd and 3rd levels and are not accessible to the public.
