Probably the most important aspect of any James Bond film is the locations. It is the glamorous, exotic and sometimes unique locations throughout the world that all help to give the films their appeal. No doubt Ursula Andress' emergence from the sea in Dr No, Little Nellies brave dogfight in You Only Live Twice, or indeed Bonds pursuit of Alec Trevelyan at the end of Goldeneye would have been so captivating without their stunning backdrops.

It's not always the glistening white sands, or the crystal clear waters Bond finds himself in, from disused tube stations in Die Another Day to abandoned mines in A View To A Kill, Bond is seen in more unique and unusual surroundings all the time. With consumer travel growing at an increasing rate, the once far-away destinations are becoming ever increasingly closer. Consequently producers are forever looking for new and exciting places to feature in the latest film, which is only good news for fans. Wherever Bond travels next, the locations will provide the perfect surroundings for the world's most famous secret agent to carry out his next assignment. §
