Bonita (Nadja Regin)
Bonita played by Nadja Regin
Born in Nis, Serbia, Yugoslavia (FYROM) on 2nd December 1931
Starred In Goldfinger (1964)
Bonita is only seen briefly in the pre-title sequence of Goldfinger. When Bond walks into a bar after planting his explosives, Bonita is dancing in the middle of the bar much to the delight of the men gathered around her.
Most of the bars customers disappear when the detonator Bond planted explodes, leaving Bonita to retire to her room. Bond then follows to finish some unfinished business. 007 narrowly avoids being hit across the head when he catches a glimpse of Capungo creeping up behind him in Bonita's eye. He quickly spins around with Bonita getting the hit instead. After dealing with Capungo, he leaves Bonita and heads for his flight to Miami.
Little is learnt about the character of Bonita played by Nadja Regin. Bonita seems to have met Bond before. When they are embraced in a kiss, Bonita pulls away complaining that 007's gun holster is hurting her, and asks why Bond always wears it. Bonita is ultimately a traitor as she has set Bond up, but the plan backfires when she gets knocked out instead of Bond.
This is the second time Nadja Regin plays in a James Bond film. She also appears as Kerim's Girl in From Russia With Love. §
