A deadly assassin working for SPECTRE in the execution branch, she becomes the mistress of Major François Derval in the operation to steal the Vulcan and its precious cargo.
She organises Derval's murder, and similarly kills Count Lippe after his numerous attempts to kill Bond fail. When Bond encounters Fiona, he becomes the assassins’ next target.
After seducing Bond into the bedroom, she later reveals her true identity, something Bond already knew, and escorts him to Emilio Largo.
Later Bond manages to escape her custody during the local Junkanoo. Fiona manages to catch up with him at the Kiss Kiss Club later, where they dance. Fiona falls foul of her own scheme though, when Bond notices Largos henchmen taking position ready to shoot him in the back. He skilfully manages to twist Fiona suddenly as they fire, killing her in the back instead.

The character of Fiona Volpe is excellently scripted and is equally portrayed by the voluptuous Luciana Paluzzi. Fiona Volpe uses her body to seduce her pray and then after enjoying sex, she kills the snared victim.
A truly classic villain, it is clear why the victims of this femme fatale are so easily seduced. Extremely sexy and striking, Luciana Paluzzi plays the role of Fiona Volpe with charismatic charm and oozes sexuality. Originally auditioning for the role of Dominique Derval, the producers clearly made the right choice in casting her for the role of Fiona Volpe instead. §
