Falco played by Michael Madsen is the second ally of Die Another Day. Falco appears in a number of scenes throughout the film. Falco convinces M that Bond is releasing secrets under torture in his prison cell in Korea.

After arranging for his release by trading Zao, M tells Bond that he isn’t going anywhere apart from the MI6 evaluation centre. Still unconvinced of Bonds intentions, he assigns Giacinta ‘Jinx’ Johnson to assist Bond. Falco is proved wrong when Bond manages to stop Icarus mere metres from the South Korean border.

Falco is the arrogant self-absorbed NSA agent who believes Bond has confessed military secrets to North Korean officials under torture. Bureaucratic and convinced of his superior knowledge, Falco convinces M of Bonds deceit something M quite rightly takes great pleasure in proving him wrong at the end of the film. §
