Profile
After escaping from 'killing' General Leonid Pushkin, Bond looks to disappear in the crowd. He finds his solution when two women pull up alongside him in their car and ask if he wants to accompany them to a party. Shortly afterwards Bond is held at gunpoint and told to merely enjoy the ride. He is taken aboard a boat where he meets Felix Leiter in the basement, and the pair discuss the situation.
At the end of the film Bond infiltrates Brad Whitaker's residence, with Leiter on the radio assisting Bond in the positions of the guards and where to go.
About
The portrayal of Felix Leiter by John Terry is the worst of the series. Featuring in only two short scenes, Leiter never leaves the basement of his boat. Terry's Leiter appears to have no chemistry with Bond, and while Timothy Dalton does his best to convince the audience he knows Leiter, they could equally be strangers. Sadly Felix Leiter's return after 14 years is a disappointing one, with Terry's performance a far cry from that of Jack Lord and David Hedison. §
