When Luigi Ferrara introduces Bond to Aristotle Kristatos, Bond meets Olympic hopeful Bibi Dahl and her trainer Jacoba Brink. Coaching Bibi into winning gold at the next Olympics, Brink is only seen in a couple of scenes.
At the end of the film while hiding out on Kristatos' mountain, Brink encourages Bibi to continue to practice despite her protests. When Kristatos tells them they are moving to Cuba, Bibi gets upset and they decide to plan to leave him. However as Brink leaves, she runs into Bond, Milos Columbo and gang, who convince her to help them in taking down Kristatos.
A former ice-skating champion from the Soviet Union, Jacoba Brink strictly coaches Bibi Dahl in the hope that she will win at the next Olympics. Throughout most of her scenes she appears very serious and speaks her little dialogue with no emotion. However at the end of the film, she appears to be much softer, caring for Bibi and her future. §
