Film information

Mr Chang played by Ho Yi is the third ally of Die Another Day. After escaping his cell aboard a MI6 ship based in Hong Kong harbour, Bond enters the Hong Kong Yacht Club not quite looking his best.

Mr Chang tells a rather snobby hotel clerk to open the Presidential Suite after Chang recognises Bond. Whilst in his room Chang sends Peaceful Fountains of Desire to find out as much about Bond as possible, pretending to be the masseuse. After removing her hidden gun, Bond throws an ashtray into a mirror revealing a hidden compartment with Mr Chang and colleagues secretly filming. After Bond convinces Chang that Zao is the villain, Chang arranges for Bond to travel to Cuba.

Character information

Mr Chang is the hotel manager of the Hong Kong Yacht Club. However in reality, Chang works for Chinese Intelligence. Employer of Peaceful Fountains of Desire, it is unknown how many other agents Chang has in his employment. After Bond convinces Chang that Zao is their common enemy, Chang proves to be quite helpful in aiding Bond in his mission. §
