When Bond travels to Egypt he meets up with Sheik Hosein at his camp. Entering a luxurious looking large tent, Bond greets Hosein and while he wishes to discuss old times, Bond insists on getting down to business. Hosein informs Bond that he will need to speak to Aziz Fekkesh and Max Kalba with regards to information about the submarine tracking system. When Bond is offered a bed for the night, he politely refuses. He soon changes he mind however when a beautiful woman presents him with a flower.
Cambridge educated, Sheik Hosein lives the life of luxury. Surrounded by beautiful women who at his beckon call, Hosein offers Bond various luxuries he has his disposal. Hosein appears not to have seen Bond in a long time since they studied at Cambridge together. A wealthy, laid back character, Hosein is able to give Bond information that helps him on his mission. §
