Dr Dave Greenwalt played by Colin Stinton is the first ally of Tomorrow Never Dies. After acquiring the GPS Encoder, James Bond travels to an US Airforce base in the South China Sea. He meets Jack Wade who introduces him to Dr Dave Greenwalt.

Greenwalt uses a GPS calibration unit and discovers that’s Bonds encoder has been tampered with, meaning the Devonshire was slowly sent off course leading to its fateful sinking. Just as Bond is about to perform his HALO jump, Dr Greenwalt realises that where Bond is diving is actually classed as belonging to Vietnam – that causes some alarm amongst Wade and a US Marine.
